Founders First CDC will be hosting its first-ever Orange County Challenge Program for small businesses on Tuesday, July 28th. The event will be held virtually due to the COVID-19 crisis.
Founders First CDC is a leading business accelerator and growth partner for diverse entrepreneurs and small businesses led by minorities, women, and military veterans.
The Founders First Challenge Program has seen tremendous success in regions like Chicago, Austin, Dallas, and San Diego, and will be coming to Orange County for the first time this month. The program is designed for entrepreneurs with established businesses, earning between $50,000 and $250,000 in annual revenue, who want to achieve growth.
The 60-day Mini-Accelerator Program consists of four workshops where business owners will learn how to achieve accelerated growth through curriculum, hands-on assignments, and expert coaching. The program completes with a Pitch and Graduation Event with the opportunity to compete for up to $5000 cash and prizes, in addition to 18-months of post-program support coaching and support.
Founders First CDC CEO Kim Folsom shares, “The Challenge is designed to help small businesses get to the next level of growth that have struggled with flat or declining sales or seeking guidance to transition their business because of revenue declines from of COVID-19.”
The fee for this program is $500 per company. In order to support diverse businesses, Founders First CDC offers a Job Creators Scholarships to support women-owned businesses, ethnic minorities, military veterans, or businesses located in low to moderate-income areas.
