OCSC Announces Expansion to Help Life Sciences & MedTech Startups

Community Service Group Adds Membership and Publicity Coverage for BioTech, Medical Devices, and Healthcare Ventures in Orange County

OC Startup CouncilFOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - Sept 2022 - Irvine CA:

The OC Startup Council is pleased to announce its expansion to serve Orange County life sciences, biotech, medical device, and health care technology startup companies, entrepreneurs, and investors.

The OC Startup Council is dedicated to increasing recognition of Orange County, California's many successful startup companies. Since its founding in 2018, the group's focus has been only on "high tech" software and hardware ventures.

By popular demand, the OCSC is now opening its services to local early stage life sciences entrepreneurs, ventures, and investors, too. These include new publicity opportunities and memberships in its popular Orange County Startup Ecosystem Directory, startup events calendar, job listings, blog, and newsletters.

The addition of the life sciences-related startups to OCSC's membership and coverage is expected to increase the visibility of these Orange County companies. Additional media coverage and website traffic will benefit those founders, their investors, the service providers in those verticals, and OCSC sponsors, as well.

"Orange County is known worldwide for its life sciences, biotech, medical devices, and healthcare services companies. The success of the OC Startup Council's work building community in the high tech startup ecosystem in Orange County has led to many requests for similar services to help support biotech, medical, and healthcare-related ventures, too. Today we're pleased to announce that we're finally supporting those local life sciences startups also", said Scott Fox, CEO of the OC Startup Council. "We look forward to expanding OCSC services to connect founders in these additional industry verticals with capital and continuing to help publicize the many life sciences entrepreneurs and investors who call Orange County home."
