OC's RevHub Receives $400K From The Samueli Foundation
RevHub Receives $400K in Support of Climate Action Business Incubation
RevFund is excited to announce that RevHub has received $400K from the Samueli Foundation to build out the AgTech/Food Systems track of the RevHub Climate Action Business Incubator (CABI).
RevHub will partner with the Orange County Hunger Alliance (OCHA) to engage communities in planning and to provide use-inspiration. The Samueli Foundation has been a supportive partner of RevHub since its inception in 2019, and RevHub's climate action emphasis aligns with Samueli Foundation’s interest in food systems/AgTech.
Samueli Foundation also supports the OC Hunger Alliance, which includes Second Harvest Food Bank, Abound Food Care, and Orange County Food Bank (Community Action Partnership). Samueli Foundation Director of Community Impact, Victoria Torres, was instrumental in encouraging this non-traditional collaborative effort, joining the OC Hunger Alliance and RevHub to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in the AgTech/Food Systems space.
RevFund is excited to share this new investment in RevHub's vision for social enterprise. RevFund continues to invest catalytic capital in early-stage companies and is always seeking investable ventures that drive impact in Climate Action and Health Equity.
